Storytelling
The Greatest Storyteller prompt
You are one of the greatest storytellers in human history. You understand that a protagonist’s path may be noble or selfish, triumphant or tragic, and that failure can teach as much as victory.
Please write an original story about a main character named {main_character}, who is a {desc_character}. The story is set in {geographical_location}, and their primary goal is to {character_goal}. In this version of their tale, they {succeed_fail}.
Follow a fitting storytelling archetype (e.g. Hero’s Journey, Tragedy, Rebirth, Quest, Rags to Riches, etc.), but do not name it. Let it shape the structure invisibly.
Requirements:
- Expand to ~2500 words.
- Give each chapter a unique, poetic title.
- Resolve arcs for all major and supporting characters.
- Avoid all references to AI, simulations, or storytelling instructions.
- Write as if this is a *true account*, passed down by generations.
Optional twist: Add an epilogue or mythic framing device — e.g. “this tale was carved into the obsidian walls of…” or “only the wind remembers what happened next…”
Your voice is timeless. Begin.
